A Heartfelt Thanksgiving From Your Pastors

As we enter this beautiful season of gratitude, Carly and I want to take a moment to speak directly to our New Life family. Thanksgiving is more than a holiday—it’s a reminder of God’s goodness, His faithfulness, and His presence that guides us each day.
And when we reflect on what we are most grateful for this year, you, our church family, come immediately to mind.
Thankful for Your Faithfulness and Worship
Week after week, you fill God’s house with praise, joy, and expectation. Your worship reflects the words of Psalm 100:4, “Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.”
Your faithfulness—your service, your giving, your prayers, your unity—creates an atmosphere where people experience Jesus in life-changing ways.
We are so deeply thankful for every volunteer, every worshipper, every servant leader, and every family who calls New Life home.
Gratitude in Every Season
Scripture encourages us in 1 Thessalonians 5:18: “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
Even in seasons of uncertainty, God’s goodness remains constant. Your lives continue to reflect His strength, love, and grace—and Carly and I are continually inspired by the faith we see in you.
Remembering God’s Faithfulness at New Life
This year has been full of evidence of God’s hand at work. Psalm 126:3 says, “The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.” That is the testimony of New Life.
We’ve seen:
• Salvations and rededications
• Over 40 water baptisms!
• Families strengthened and restored
• Children and students growing in the Word
• Our food pantry serving hundreds of families
• Worship services marked by God’s presence
• Leaders rising up with passion and excellence
• Our community being touched with the love of Jesus
Each moment is a reminder of Lamentations 3:23: “Great is Your faithfulness.”
And each of you has played a vital part in what God is doing in and through this church.
Blessed to Be a Blessing
Genesis 12:2 reminds us of God’s heart: “I will bless you… and you will be a blessing.”
New Life is blessed because of the hearts within it—you. Your willingness to serve, love, and pursue the mission of Christ impacts lives every single week.
From the parking lot to the platform, from kids ministry to community outreach, from prayer teams to the food pantry—you are living out the calling of Galatians 6:10, “Let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.”
Your service matters, and Carly and I thank God for every single one of you.
A Thanksgiving Prayer Over Our Church Family
Lord, thank You for our New Life family.
Thank You for their faithfulness, their worship, and their heart to serve.
Your Word says in Psalm 107:1, “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.”
We pray that Your joy, peace, and blessing would fill every home.
Strengthen every family, refresh every heart, and guide every step.
Let gratitude, unity, and Your presence mark this season.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Happy Thanksgiving, New Life!
As you gather around the table with loved ones, may Philippians 4:7 be your portion: “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”
We are honored to serve as your pastors, and we are grateful beyond words for each of you.
From our hearts to yours,
Happy Thanksgiving!
