Why does membership matter?

At New Life, membership isn’t about joining a club—it’s about planting roots in a spiritual family and committing to walk out your faith in community.

The Assemblies of God places a strong value on belonging to a local church body. The Bible reminds us that we are “members of one body” (1 Corinthians 12:12-27), each with a vital role to play. Membership affirms your place in that body, giving you both a spiritual covering and a spiritual home.

As a member, you are saying:
 • I belong here. I’m choosing to live out my faith in fellowship with this body of believers.
 • I believe in the vision. I stand with the mission of New Life and the Assemblies of God’s commitment to proclaiming the gospel, making disciples, and seeking the baptism and empowerment of the Holy Spirit.
 • I’m committed. I will serve, give, and grow alongside my church family as we advance God’s Kingdom together.

Membership also provides the opportunity to:
 • Receive spiritual guidance and pastoral care.
 • Grow deeper in biblical understanding and doctrine.
